Transport Security Technology - Security for transport, infrastructure and supply chains


In light of global challenges with regards to increasing transport requirements, just in time logistics, crime, migration and terrorist threats as well as attacks on safety and functional personnel the security of transports of people, goods and material is of fundamental importance.

TransportSecTec was established to meet the need for an independent platform to exchange facts, solutions and innovations to improve the increasing security challenges facing transportation worldwide.  The magazine offers articles on best-practice, opinion, white papers and thought leadership as well as product showcases, interviews and insight into the latest technologies and strategies.

The magazine is published in dual language English and German and is supported by Ministries of Transport, Infrastructure and Homeland Security worldwide as well as the International Transport Forum (ITF), part of the OECD.  The ITF is an intergovernmental organisation with 57 member countries and the ITF Annual Summit in late May every year in Leipzig, Germany, is the world's largest gathering of transport ministers and is the leading global platform for dialogue on transport policy of which security is a major component.

Currently published twice a year, copies of TransportSecTec are sent to over 16,000 senior professionals working in Governmental Departments of Transport, Interior, Infrastructure as well as Security services, Police & Law Enforcement, operators of of ports, airports & public transport systems - road, rail, aviation and maritime - as well as senior management in industry, logistics, traffic, ICT, energy and water supply.  Printed copies are also distributed  to delegates and visitors to key government events such as the ITF Annual Summit, ITS European Congress, TOC Europe and other associated transport trade shows.

Here is issue 2/2017 of our TRANSPORTSecTec for your information. After the zero-issue which was published at the ITF International Transport Forum Summit 2016 in Leipzig, Germany, the magazine attracted great attention with its unique thematic focus.
