9th GPEC, 7 - 9 June 2016, Leipzig, Germany

Motto 2016: Thinking and equipping from the job

  • Renewed increase for the most comprehensive overview dedicated to the business with public authorities for the technical equipment in the field of internal security with 526 exhibitors from 31 countries and 6,694 security experts from 57 countries
  • Most representative overview for all subject fields and up-to-date training, conference and consultation programme under the patronage of the Federal Minister of The Interior Dr. Thomas de Maizière

At the closed specialized event GPEC® 6,694 security experts from 57 countries informed themselves with 526 exhibitors (348 national and 178 international ones) from 31 countries about novelties, technologies and trends in the field of Police and Special equipment (2014: 6,387 visitors from 62 countries and 503 exhibitors from 28 countries).

The further increase in the number of visitors and exhibitors, the once again biggest net exhibit space since the first GPEC® in the year 2000 as well as the further increased popularity among exhibitors and visitors from abroad are distinctive benchmarks. Especially pleasing is the very positive response among visitors from authorities and the increased satisfaction of the exhibitors.

Since the year 2000 GPEC® is the first and only representative overview of products for internal security for all subject fields and kinds of equipment in Germany - especially information and communications technology, vehicle technology and traffic control, weapons and tools, clothing and personal equipment, forensic science and technology. As closed event GPEC® is accessible only for professional visitors from authorities that can present a service ID card. Thus resulting confidential and qualified discussions make GPEC® popular among visitors from authorities and exhibitors. This characteristics as unique, closed specialized event will be further strengthened and distinctively developed in the future. As a result the importance of the specialized exhibition as the core of the whole event will be further increased.
